Our Organization
It was in 1974 that the Banque Populaire Suisse created Columna Genève, which was to become, twenty-four years later, La Collective de prévoyance – COPRÉ.
During these two and a half decades, the story of our Foundation was punctuated by the various takeovers in the banking and finance area: in 1993 Credit Suisse acquired the Banque Populaire Suisse, then the Winterthur Insurance Company.
In 1997, the Assembly of Delegates decided to pursue the adventure in an independent manner under the name La Collective de prévoyance – COPRÉ as from 1 January 1998.
In 2024, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Foundation, we become COPRÉ.
Life stories.
With us it is your path and objectives that define our solutions, not the other way round. Our solution is your solution. It’s because we fully master provident schemes and their stakes that we can offer you tailor-made solutions. No fixed or pre-established benefit, everything is planned in function of your needs.
The strength that comes from being a collective.
COPRÉ belongs to its members. Affiliates that participate in this common dynamic. Besides, our Board of Trustees is composed of a team of men and women at the very heart of the subject and its preoccupations: our insured people. You.
A foundation.
COPRÉ is a foundation and benefits from the prerogatives of its status. With no shareholders, we have no remunerations to guarantee other than those of the persons we insure. And no other interests to serve but yours, in total independence, flexibility and transparency.
Expertise and commitment in the service of your pension.
